Therapy for Change
Shine Light On Your Life

Are you seeking greater peace, intimacy and joy in your life?

Chantal Rohlfing, LCSW is a therapist who uses her compassion, wisdom and positive beliefs to help people make important life changes. With over 20 years experience, she draws from her work with clients as well as her own life journey in guiding clients from 'fear to freedom.'

You can change your thinking, and change your life.

Therapy Can Help You To:

  • Move From Fear to Freedom: If stress, worry or anxiety get in the way of living the life you desire, you can learn techniques to relax and overcome fear
  • Overcome Depression:  If you lack energy, motivation, and feel guilty or self-critical, you can improve your self-esteem and feel better
  • Strengthen Your Relationship: If you and your partner are fighting or feeling distant, you can improve your communication, intimacy and/or sex life
  • Heal from Abuse or Neglect: If your childhood was painful or traumatic, you can learn coping skills, improve self-esteem, and learn to trust again
  • Loss, Grief, and Life Transitions: Losses and significant changes in life can be difficult to get through, but you can feel better and grow with support
  • Parenting Concerns: If you are stressed out by parenting and don't know how to help your kid(s), you can gain confidence and receive guidance

Therapy Will:

  • Provide you with the support and practical tools to feel better now
  • Assist you to achieve your goals and develop your life vision
  • Teach you strategies to shift your negative thoughts and painful feelings
  • Help you celebrate your successes, even the smallest ones

Approach to Therapy

Chantal's warm, non-judgmental approach helps clients to feel immediately comfortable to share their life challenges. She will gently assist you in exploring the roots of your distress, including childhood or life experiences that may have contributed to them. She will quickly help you to develop goals about feelings and behaviors you wish to change in your life.

From her 20 years experience, Chantal has found that most people don't have the tools to fully feel and release emotions, or to shift out of their negative thinking patterns which contribute to their problems. Using many tools she's developed, Chantal will assist you in shifting negative emotions and thoughts to bring positive feelings such as peace, joy and connection into your life. She sees the highest potential for her clients, focusing on their strengths and ability to succeed.

With couples, Chantal provides a safe space for each partner to fully express their feelings and differences, while assisting couples by teaching responsible and effective communication techniques. She also helps couples increase intimacy and sexuality in their relationship.
